What past interns have to say about
Burns Entertainment & Sports Marketing, Inc.

"Though you may have heard already, I wanted to inform you guys that I will be accepting a position at GMR in Charlotte.  I wanted to take the time to thank all of you collectively; for not only providing me with the wealth of experience in all areas of the work world, but also assisting me in establishing a network outside of Burns. Without my time in Evanston , there's no way I'm in the position I am now. I hope to keep close contact with all of you and look forward to hearing from you soon. Good luck with 2010!"

                                                                                                                          Zac Applin, Fall 2009

"As a graduating senior, Burns gave me the tools to ensure my post graduate success. Not only did I receive the in-depth knowledge and training of a full-time employee in the entertainment and sports industry, but the executives of the company took time out of their day to work with me on my future career. In addition to help with my resume and cover letter, they helped me figure out what it was that I wanted to do with my life after college and recommended many companies that would allow me to pursue my passion. I would higly recommend this internship program to any student who is interested in learning more about the entertainment and sports industry. My summer with Burns was an unforgettable experience."

                                                                                                                         Patrick Higgins, Summer 2009

"Having the opportunity to intern at Burns is an advantage for anyone interested in working in the entertainment and sports marketing field. While working here I was given the opportunity to learn every aspect of the industry. The responsibilities they gave me and the work I completed helped confirm my idea of the career I would like to pursue. The experience that Burns provides you with gives you the knowledge needed to make it in this field, much of which you cannot learn in a classroom."
